Privacy Policy

Last Updated & Reviewed: September 17, 2026 • Effective Date: January 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the LinkedNL website (https://linkednl.com) and the official LinkedNL mobile applications (Android on Google Play and iOS), developed by Omar Ezker. The privacy of our visitors and app users is of paramount importance. This document outlines the types of information collected and recorded by LinkedNL, how we utilize and protect it, and our compliance with international privacy frameworks including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Google Play Developer policies.

1Stateless Architecture & Data Minimization

LinkedNL operates on a stateless, zero-retention infrastructure. When you paste a public LinkedIn link into our downloader tool:

  • We do not require user accounts, email registration, passwords, or personal credentials.
  • We do not store or archive the videos, audio files, or photos you process on our permanent disk drives.
  • Requests are processed in real-time memory or transient temporary cache and purged immediately once the download stream completes.
  • We never log your personal LinkedIn browsing history, user accounts, or private social media activity.

2Mobile Application Permissions & Google Play Compliance

If you use our Android or iOS mobile applications, we may request certain device permissions to provide our core services. In compliance with Google Play and App Store policies, we disclose the following:

  • Storage & Media Access: We request storage permissions strictly to save downloaded videos, audio, and photos directly to your device's gallery. We do not read, scan, or upload your existing personal files.
  • Clipboard Access: Our app may locally check your clipboard when opened to auto-detect LinkedIn links for your convenience. This check happens entirely on your device. We never transmit, log, or save non-LinkedIn clipboard content to our servers.
  • Device Advertising IDs: Third-party ad networks may collect your Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA to serve advertisements. You can reset or opt out of these identifiers through your device's system settings.

3Data Retention and Deletion Policy

In accordance with Google Play's User Data policy requirements, we provide full transparency regarding data lifecycle and deletion:

  • Data Retention: Because LinkedNL is a stateless utility, we do not retain, store, or archive any user-generated content, media downloads, or personal user profiles on our servers. Processing occurs transiently in temporary memory.
  • Data Deletion Mechanism: Although we do not collect or store persistent personal data, you may still submit a formal data deletion request or inquiry at any time. To request verification of data deletion, please email us directly at privacy@linkednl.com. We will process and confirm your request within 7 business days.

Notice Regarding Google Services (Analytics & AdSense)

Google is a third-party vendor on our website. Please review the following mandatory disclosures regarding Google advertising and analytics cookies:

4Google Analytics, AdSense, & Advertising Partners

We partner with third-party networks, including Google AdSense and Google Analytics, to serve advertisements and measure traffic when you visit our website. These companies may use cookies and web beacons:

  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors engage with our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to track visitor interactions. You can opt out of this tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies: Enables Google and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to linkednl.com and/or other sites on the Internet.

  • Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info or the Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out Page.

5Server Log Files

Like most standard web servers, LinkedNL follows standard log file protocols. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamps, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks. These records are used strictly for analyzing trends, administering the site, preventing automated DDoS abuse, and gathering broad demographic information. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
