Operational Boundaries

Service Limitations & Constraints

A transparent overview of what LinkedNL cannot do, ensuring realistic user expectations and adherence to ethical engineering standards.

Private Profiles & Restricted Groups

LinkedNL operates strictly on publicly accessible LinkedIn links. It cannot authenticate with private accounts, view connections-only updates, or bypass privacy settings configured by the author.

Deleted or Expired Posts

If an author deletes their post, or if LinkedIn removes content for policy violations, the video is no longer available on LinkedIn CDN servers and cannot be extracted.

Region-Restricted Posts

Posts or webinars that are restricted to specific geographic regions or corporate intranets cannot be accessed by external edge resolvers.

Pre-Edited Burned-In Text or Logos

Our engine extracts the direct MP4 master video from LinkedIn CDNs without adding any branding. However, if a creator edited custom titles or watermarks directly into the video before uploading, those pixels are permanently part of the footage.

No Digital Rights Management (DRM) Bypass

LinkedNL does not decrypt, circumvent, or tamper with digital rights management (DRM) or proprietary encryption mechanisms.

Original Source Resolution Bounds

LinkedNL never artificially upscales lower-resolution videos. The maximum attainable resolution is bounded by the original file uploaded by the creator (typically 1080p Full HD, 720p HD, or 360p).
